Halloween -the word paints a picture in my mind of autumn leaves, pumpkins, apples, cornstalks, and Mom busy making Halloween costumes. Three costumes come to my mind. One year Dee and I were dressed up like gypsies, with a black turbin around our hair and a mask covering our eyes. We wore silk blouses with puffy sleeves, and big full skirts in bright multi—colors. Our necklaces were made out of colored Cheerios.
Another year Dee was a big, fat, pink pig, and I was a clown.
Then there was the year I was Robin Hood with a green outfit including leotards and a little green—pointed hat with a red feather. I even carried my trusty bow and arrow so that I would be prepared to take from the rich and give to the poor!
